GOD FORBID To Guest On FUSE TV's 'Metal Asylum': Photos Available
September 20, 2005New Jersey metal outfit GOD FORBID will be the featured guests on Fuse TV's "Metal Asylum" tonight (Sept. 20) at 11:00 p.m. EST (8:00 p.m. PST). Pictures from the taping can be found at www.fuseblog.com/metalasylum.
Doc Coyle (guitars, vocals) checks in with the following report: "Well folks, here it is ... Judgement day has come at last and [GOD FORBID's new album] 'IV: Constitution of Treason' has hit the streets! I can't tell you how excited, nervous and antsy we've been for the past few months while we look forward to the day that the world could hear an album that we feel is our most accomplished to date.
"We have a couple in store appearances today and tomorrow at Vintage Vinyl in New Jersey and Looney Tunes on Long Island respectively, and than we have a couple more rehearsals until the start of one of the best tours this band has ever done; The Fury of the Fall. Alongside MESHUGGAH, THE HAUNTED and MNEMIC, the tour kicks off October 1st in Florida at a big-time radio show with our friends in HATEBREED, DEVILDRIVER, OTEP and the legendary MOTÖRHEAD headlining. Now that's how you start a fucking tour! We've been off the road since April, so we're more than ready to get back to what we do best which is play live.
“In a few other announcements, our website now features a brand new design to celebrate the new album. It should be fully capable by the end of the week and it looks very sleek, so check it out. Also, GOD FORBID will be featured on Fuse's 'Metal Asylum' tonight at 8pm EST, so peep our ugly mugs if you can. Lastly, we have booked some headlining off-dates from the Fury of the Fall with MNEMIC as support. We're really excited about these shows because we're hitting places that Fury of the Fall isn't going and we always try to play the smaller towns that a lot bands don't go to. So, check out the entire list of North American fall tour dates below and make sure you pick up the new record today! Peace."
Produced by Jason Suecof (TRIVIUM) and Eric Rachel (ATREYU, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN),GOD FORBID's new album "IV: Constitution of Treason" — a socially and politically charged vision of a post-apocalyptic world — further displays the incredible creativity and talent of one of the most highly respected bands in metal today. A limited-edition DualDisc version has also been made available, featuring, in addition to the album itself, "The Act of Treason"; an exclusive, making-of-the-album, behind-the-scenes documentary featuring band interviews and tons of in-studio footage that takes you from rehearsals to pre-production all the way to the mastering of "IV: Constitution of Treason". Check out the track "Chains of Humanity" at this location.
